Where paper blossom’sinto art, and creativity comes from the heart.

My journey as a paper flower artist began unexpectedly—with a little creativity, a lot of curiosity, and a desire to help my husband, Luis.

When Luis was commissioned to create an altar for a space where fresh flowers were not permitted, I decided to try my hand at making paper marigolds. What started as a simple solution quickly blossomed into a passion I never knew I had. I fell in love with the challenge of transforming ordinary sheets of paper into flowers that capture the delicate beauty, movement, and character of nature.

And here’s a little confession: I’ve never been very good at keeping real flowers alive! Perhaps that’s why I love creating flowers that will never wilt.

Over time, my curiosity grew into a love for exploring different techniques, textures, colors, and designs. Each petal is carefully shaped by hand, and every flower becomes its own little work of art. What fascinates me most is how something as simple as paper can be transformed into something so lifelike, expressive, and meaningful.

Together, Luis and I founded Estrada’s Artistry LLC, bringing our creative passions together. While he specializes in handcrafted religious woodwork, crosses, and altar installations, I bring a softer, floral touch through my paper flower creations. Our work is rooted in craftsmanship, faith, and the belief that beauty can inspire, uplift, and tell a story.

As a wife, mother of seven, and grandmother, I’ve learned that creativity often blossoms in the middle of life’s ordinary moments. My family, faith, and experiences continue to inspire the work of my hands and the love I pour into every creation.

For me, paper flowers are more than decorations. They are an opportunity to preserve a moment, celebrate a special occasion, honor a tradition, or create something meaningful that can be treasured for years to come.

Every flower begins with a simple piece of paper, but with patience, imagination, and a little love, it becomes something extraordinary.

Thank you for being here and allowing me to share a little piece of my creative world with you.

With love and creativity,

Pilar
